What we collect
When you call us, you choose what to tell us. That is usually your name and phone number, the company that owes you money, and a description of your situation.
Calls to this service are not recorded. We may make notes so we can remember what you told us.
We also collect information about your visit to this website, described below.
How we use it
We use what you tell us to have the conversation you called about, to answer your questions, and to follow up if you have asked us to.
We do not add callers to a marketing list, we do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who we share it with
Where it would help you, and only if you ask us to, we may introduce you to other professional firms, including firms we are connected with. We tell you before we do it, and you can decline. From that point they hold your information under their own privacy policy and their own engagement terms.
We also use service providers who host this website and handle our email and analytics, and we may disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and website analytics
Our hosting provider processes connection information, including your IP address and the page you requested, to deliver and protect the website.
We use Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement to understand which pages are useful, how people find us and which advertisements lead to a call. These set cookies and receive your IP address, device information and the pages you view. We never receive anything you type.
Google processes this data overseas, including in the United States. Visitors from the United Kingdom, Europe and Switzerland are not measured.
If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Neither affects your ability to use this website or to call us.
Keeping it secure
We limit access to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so please do not send us documents, bank details or account credentials by email or through this website.
How long we keep it
We keep information only while it is needed for the purpose it was collected for and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Where a matter becomes a professional engagement, the firm handling it retains records under its own policy and professional obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Info@jbccorporate.au. There is no charge and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your privacy, tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can then complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which is free and independent.
